Two-Span Continuous Box Girder Bridge
Course modified date: 15 August 2026
Learn how to create, analyze, and evaluate a two-span continuous post-tensioned box girder bridge. You define materials, cross-sections, geometry, supports, loads, prestressing systems, and construction stages.
You model tendons, perform staged construction analysis, generate live load envelopes using load stepping, apply non-linear temperature effects, create automatic load combinations, and evaluate stresses and results. The workflow combines graphical modeling and text-based input to provide a complete bridge engineering process.
You also learn result interpretation, reporting, and verification techniques for structural behavior under permanent, variable, prestressing, temperature, and construction stage actions.
